When and where we meet
We meet: Monthly
Third Thursday of every month except August – 9.30am-11.30am
Location: Cherry Hinton Baptist Church Family Centre, Fishers Lane, Cherry Hinton, Cambridge, CB1 9HR (the Family Centre is down a driveway on the corner of Fishers Lane and High Street)
Who we are
We aim to befriend and support all kinship carers, regardless of order or what stage of the kinship process they are at. We provide friendship and a place to share issues with those who truly empathise.
We welcome kinship carers who are still in the process of securing their specific order. We have found sharing our own experiences with hindsight can be very useful to those starting on their kinship journey.
We arrange informal get togethers and annual picnics in Cherry Hinton Hall Park with Easter Egg Hunts for the children.
Please note – Pre school children can attend with their kinship carer – we do our best to accommodate any children who are with us.
