Who we are

We are a diverse group with experience and knowledge of different kinships, such as kinship foster care and special guardianship. We are here to help grandparents, aunties, uncles, and friends of family who are kinship carers or are in the process of looking after children that for whatever reason the parents can’t look after them either in the short term or long term.

The group used to be run by a Kinship staff member as part of the Kinship Connected support service but is now led by James who is a kinship carer.

Please note – Children can attend the group during holidays and special events.
